Definitions

SRL - The Science Registry Ltd - the owners of FindAUniversityJob.com (The Site).
Job Listing: An entry within the FindAUniversityJob.com database
Advertisers: Individuals or institutions placing job listings on The Site
UniJob Institutions: Any University, Government Research or other academic related organisation
Public Area - The area of The Site that visitors see.
Featured Adverts - Banner or Button advertising linking to listings within The Site.

Terms & Conditions

Job Listings

1. A single Job Listing can run for a maximum of 8 weeks.  Jobs disappear from the public area of The Site once the application deadline is reached.
2. Each job listing must describe a single job vacancy within the Advertisers institution
3. Adverts for PhD studentships are not permitted on The Site. (See www.FindAPhD.com for listing PhD opportunities).
4. Advertisers are responsible for keeping the information they present on The Site up to date. SRL reserve the right to hide job listings from the public area of the site if the information provided appears out of date, inaccurate or inappropriate.  No refund will be available in these cases.
5. Job listings can be edited at any time providing the application deadline has not been reached.

There are two ways to list a job on The Site:

A. Individual Account:

1. Any individual within a UniJob Institution can register to advertise vacant positions on the site.
2. Holders of individual accounts buy credits.  One credit can be used to list one job on The Site.
3. Jobs which have run for more than 8 weeks or who’s application deadline has passed can be re-activated via the administrators control panel at the cost of 1 credit.
4. Credits can be purchased individual or in bulk.  Credits are valid for three months from the purchase date and are non-refundable.

B. Institutional Account:

1. Personnel / HR Departments with a UniJob Institution can take out an annual Institutional Account with The Site, allowing that UniJob Institution to place an unlimited number of job adverts throughout the year.
2. Jobs which have run for more than 8 weeks or who’s application deadline has passed can be re-activated via the administrators control panel.
3. Job Listings placed on The Site will show on the public area of the site until the application deadline is reached even if the Institutional Account has lapsed.

SRL reserve the right to remove without notice any Job Listings on The Site which breach one or more of the above Terms and Conditions. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.

Featured Adverts

Featured Adverts can only link to listings within the The Site.
Buttons and banners are usually designed by our in-house team. Whatever the source of the ad, it is the advertisers responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos that make up the button or banner. SRL retain copyright on any buttons, banners or other creatives that SRL produces on your behalf. Their use is licensed for The Site only. Advertisers wishing to use any of our creatives on their own or other sites should contact info@findauniversityjob.com.

Custom Pages

In circumstances where an advertisers needs cannot be met using the above options we may offer to provide a Custom Page advert. These listings are not included in the database, and can only be reached via a Featured Advert.
Custom pages are designed by our in-house team. Whatever the source of the ad, it is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos used in the page.

Acceptable content for Custom pages is at the discretion of SRL.
